On February 22nd, 2021, the first QUASAR Q4
was put into service at ADIF’s Vicálvaro Cargo Terminal (Madrid), after many years of work in its development and the investment effort it has entailed.
This commissioning is our implementation of a security installation geographically closer to our facilities in Alcobendas (Madrid); just a few kilometers away from our offices.
We are very proud that this equipment is our own technology, it is an evolution and improvement of the S3e; and we are very proud to position ourselves at the forefront of the signaling market. The next challenges with this equipment will come when we approach its industrialization, optimized adaptability and competitiveness.
It is especially valuable the attitude of a team of people who have made Vicálvaro their “home”; overcoming for months the obstacles derived from working in a freight terminal and its operational constraints the technological dependencies of third parties; and even the mismatch in product deadlines with contractual commitments; and also taking into account the pandemic situation that we have had for a year now.
