CAF Signalling has entered into a contract to supply 21 AURIGA BL3 R2 OBS ERTMS systems. The systems are to equip 21 DMUs by CAF for Keolis Amey (Wales and Borders Rail Franchise).
AURIGA OBS is a compact, modular ERTMS system that can be optimised and customised for the client’s operational and commercial needs. It carries out the safe supervision of train movement with a high degree of availability and fail-safe performance.
This contract increases the presence of CAF Signalling in the United Kingdom after having equipped 98 DMUs and EMUs for the Northern Arriva project. It likewise positions CAF Signalling as a relevant player in the ERTMS OBS signalling business in the United Kingdom.
