CAF Signalling puts six latest generation interlockings into service on the Silla-Gandia commuter line

This action is part of the project for the renewal of the Circulation Remote Control System on ADIF's Eastern Sub-directorate.

This new project, which modernises the line and incorporates advanced technology, includes the installation of six latest-generation Quasar Q4e interlockings.

The reform involves:

  • incorporation of AV led signals, axle counters, motorised shims,
  • renovation of the high line from electrical substations,
  • the blocking with collateral stations,
  • the deployment of ADIF IP/MPLS backbone network between Silla and Gandía, the deployment of signalling network,
  • migration of operating telephony to IP telephony throughout the section.

Also implemented:

  • migration of the ground-train communication system
  • renovation of the access control and video surveillance systems and installation of the NEOSTAR alarm control system,
  • construction of two new technical buildings, one with a circulation cabinet, and the refurbishment of the four original buildings have also been carried out.

This commissioning includes another parallel action: the incorporation of the Alfafar - Gandía regulation band in the new Valencia Fuente de San Luis CTC.

In this way, CAF Signalling makes its NAOS technology and ADIF's new remote control architecture available.
